Fiddlers Crossing hosts an open mic every Wednesday starting at 7:00p.m. (Doors open at 6:30pm sharp)
These are canceled for now.
Everyone is welcome to come and share their talents, from musicians and singers,to poets and comedians, storytellers and more. Don’t want to perform? Be our audience!!
$6.00 cover (audience and performers) for adults, $3.00 students , children under 12 with guardian are free!
Admission includes all refreshments. Try our great freshly ground coffee!
Note: $1.00 of the admission price goes to pay ASCAP, BMI and SESAC, the music performance rights organizations, so the songwriters whose music gets performed in the venue get the payment they deserve.
Video shot by Vincent Hernandez, Laura Brubaker and Amy Rodriguez, edited and produced by Gary Mazzola.
And, every “First Friday,” (unless one of our concerts is scheduled for that date) Fiddlers Crossing hosts an open house featuring live music, our famous freshly ground coffees, teas and various goodies. It’s a party!! And the BEST part, It’s FREE!!! (tips for the musicians are definitely encouraged and donations toward the refreshments are happily accepted!) In recent months, the venue has been packed to capacity for these events, and why not? We’ve become “the place to go” after folks have wandered around town, checked out all the great arts and crafts, had some wine and hors d’oeuvres at the participating establishments and are not quite ready to call it a night just yet. We open our doors at 7:00pm and don’t close down till around 10:00pm or so. (and that’s SOMETHING for Tehachapi!) If you haven’t experienced one of these evenings, you owe it to yourself to check one out! Seating is on a first come-first serve basis and we are an “intimate” venue (euphemism for SMALL) so get there early to get a seat! We look forward to seeing you there! Doors Open at 6:30pm sharp.
